#7 – explore dance Festival for young audiences
The seventh edition of the explore dance festival is part of the celebrations marking the 20th anniversary of the UNESCO Convention on the Protection and Promotion of the Diversity of Cultural Expressions!
With a diverse programme, the festival highlights the importance of cultural participation and artistic freedom and shows how valuable it is to bring cultural diversity to life – for a wide audience and especially for young people.
In schools in Potsdam and Brandenburg, as well as on the stage of fabrik Potsdam, children, young people, families, school classes and adults are invited to discover a wide range of dance productions. Together with the artists, we embark on sensory journeys through order and chaos, into imaginative worlds – sometimes in groups, sometimes as individuals – humorous and playful, encouraging and energetic.
The festival is accompanied by an extensive educational programme that creates a lively space for exchange, reflection and active participation.
