Nora Elberfeld

Nora Elberfeld

is a choreographer, dancer and dance facilitator. She studied contemporary stage dance and dance education at the Anton Bruckner University in Linz and performance studies in Hamburg. She has danced for various choreographers in Austria, France and Germany at Kampnagel, Thalia Theater, Landestheater Linz, Odeon Theater Wien, Konzerthaus Wien and in public spaces. In 2015/16 she was a resident at K3⎮Tanzplan Hamburg. Her work You’re from the 70ies but I’m a 90ies bitch was invited to the Aerowaves – Spring Forward Festival in Ume (Sweden) in 2014 with the support of the Goethe Institute. Further full-length works were created at Kampnagel and in cooperation with Fundus Theater. In addition, Nora Elberfeld is active in outreach work and has been a choreographer for “Step by Step – Dance Projects with Hamburg Schools” since 2021. One of her main artistic interests lies in the question of how choreography can move the viewer kinaesthetically and emotionally. To do this, she goes to schools, churches and clubs in addition to the theatre.
