explore dance #6 festival for young audience | 6 – 10 May 2025 in Munich

Fokus Tanz München presented explore dance Festival #6 and invited children, young people, families, school classes and teachers to experience contemporary dance in all its diversity.

The festival aimed at all ages from 3 years old and took place in the HochX theatre, in schools and in the city library in Motorama. In addition to current explore dance productions, the company Second Hand Dance (UK) was a guest with The Sticky Dance.

The panel discussion on ‘Spaces for all: accessibility as the key to cultural participation’ shed light on artistic, academic and cultural policy perspectives. The varied supporting programme also included a specialist day for teachers and discourse offerings.
