DIEGO TORTELLI

Diego Tortelli completed his training as a dancer at STUDIO 76 in Brescia, the Accademia Nazionale di Danza in Rome and the Accademia Teatro alla Scala. After engagements at the Ballet de Teatres de la Generalitat in Valencia and the Luna Negra Dance Theatre Chicago, he has been working as a freelance dancer since 2015 for the Bavarian State Opera, Richard Siegal / The Bakery, Richard Siegal / Ballet of Difference, Korzo Theatre and La Veronal, among others. His work as a choreographer has taken him to companies such as INTRODANS and Compañía Nacional de Danza, the Museum of Contemporary Art Chicago (Recapitulo), EKO Dance Project (Carmen Suite), Teatro Massimo of Palermo (Vox multitudinis), Festival MILANoLTRE (Vitreae Vultus, Pasipahe, Lorca sono tutti) and Paloscenico Danza Torino (Cursus) as well as the Festival MILANoLTRE.
