Carolin Jüngst & Lisa Rykena

Lisa Rykena and Carolin Jüngst work between Munich and Hamburg as choreographers and performers in the artistic duo Rykena/Jüngst. In their work, they deal with queer-feminist, intersectional and ableism-critical body discourses and the transformation of normative categorisations of bodies. Drawing on classical, mythological and pop-cultural material, they create figures that defy the stereotypes and clichés of heteronormative categorisations. Their works have been invited to various festivals, e.g. Outnow Festival Bremen or imagetanz Festival at brut Vienna.
