Anna Konjetzky
Anna Konjetzkys dance-pieces and dance-installations are shaped by an intensive study of the space and its constitution. Since 2005, she created numerous works that have been shown at Spielart, Dance, Tanzwerkstatt Munich, unidram Potsdam, Festival Danse Balsa Marni Brussels a. o. and that toured to Krakow, Warsaw, Luxembourg, Kampala, Nairobi, Hanoi, Istanbul, Gent, Salzburg and Brazil. Further world premieres led her to Saarländisches Staatstheater (ground) and Theater Heilbronn (Running). After her studies at the Ecole Internationale de théâtre LASSAAD (J. Lecoq method) in Brussels, she deepened her expertise in contemporary dance and body weather in Brussels and Berlin. 2005-2008 she worked as Wanda Golonka’s assistant for schauspielfrankfurt. In 2006 she received a grant of the Senatsverwaltung Berlin to go to Germaine Acogny/Senegal. In 2009 she won the operare competition of Zeitgenössische Oper in Berlin. In the same year, she has been awarded the first prize for the best German dance solo at Euro-scene Leipzig. Her dance-installation Abdrücke has been invited to Tanzplattform Deutschland in 2012. In 2013 Anna Konjetzky was nominated for the George Tabori prize andin 2014 she recieved the Förderpreis Tanz of the city of Munich. She is one of 15 european artists participating at the global city-local city project. Currently she receives a 3 years support of the city of Munich and a 3 years support of Fonds Darstellende Künste. Since 2014 she creates her work in collaboration with Kammerspiele München (About a Session and Wah-Wah a.o.).
