Lea Moro
Lea Moro works as a choreographer, curator, lecturer and cultural manager in Zurich and Berlin. She studied at the Accademia Teatro Dimitri, the LABAN Centre in London and the Hochschulübergreifendes Zentrum Tanz in Berlin. Her choreographic works tour internationally and are shown at renowned venues. In 2015/16, Lea was resident choreographer at K3 – Zentrum für Choreographie I Tanzplan Hamburg, 2017/18 Young Associated Artist at Tanzhaus Zurich. Moro is co-founder of the Acker’Festival Berlin (2013/14) and was a member of the Academic and Extended Academic Senate of the Berlin University of the Arts between 2012-14. Between 2014-18 she was part of the jury for the residency programme Schloss Bröllin (D). In 2017 she was awarded the Work Scholarship of the City of Zurich Culture, in 2018 the Promotion Prize of the Canton of Zurich. Since autumn 2019 she has been participating in the one-year university course Curating in the Scenic Arts (Paris Lodron University Salzburg, Ludwig-Maximilians-University Munich).
