Ceren Oran

Ceren Oran, born in Istanbul in 1984, studied contemporary dance and choreography at SEAD in Salzburg and has lived in Munich since 2014. She works as a freelance dancer, choreographer and sound painter. Ceren Oran has danced for several choreographers and in international ensembles. She has also developed numerous own pieces and has toured internationally with them. In 2010, she began creating dance theatre performances for children aged 1.5 to 6. Her activities as a sound painter and sound painting trainer enable her to explore multidisciplinary free improvisation and compose improvisation material live on stage. Ceren Oran is a founding and board member of the global network of Assitej International: Young Dance Network.
