ELISABETE FINGER
Elisabete Finger is a Brazilian choreographer and performer. Her creations investigate the materiality and anatomy of bodies and things, exposing textures, densities, shapes and fluids in situations that explore the boundaries between pleasure and disturbance. Through the contact and collision of different materials, she experiments with logics guided by sensations and pleasure, often rubbing against social or cultural expectations. Her recent works propose unexpected encounters between very different partners to practice political ecology and test other forms of empathy.
