International advisory board

An international advisory board accompanies the project and provides a network for explore dance beyond Germany. Three representatives of European dance and theatre institutions aid in the selection of artists and contribute their expertise to the network. Aside from the artist selection process, the structure also facilitates a wider aesthetic and cultural-political discourse: discussing aspects of funding artists, cultural education and audience development with recourse to international experience and competencies. Members of the international advisory board are Catja Loepfe (Artistic Director of the Tanzhaus Zürich), Roberto Casarotto (Artistic Director of the Centro per la Scena Contemporanea, head of the dance section of the Operaestate Festival Veneto in Bassano del Grappa, Italy) and Fiona Ferguson (Creative Development Director Imaginate Edinburgh, Scotland) as well as until 2018 Charlotte Vandevyver (former. Dance Programming, STUK Kunstencentrum vzw, Leuven, Belgium).
