New Discussion Series

Outreach formats are not an add-on, but the core of artistic creation. explore dance invites you to a nationwide program series that reexamines outreach as part of artistic practice. The kick-off will be on September 28 with a professional day in Potsdam with partners from the network, connecting artistic practice, outreach formats, and discourse. This will be followed by four digital Zoom meetings with national and international guests, who will delve into key questions about artistic outreach, participation, aesthetics, and accessibility. Our goal: to sustainably strengthen dance for young audiences as an independent art form and to make outreach formats visible as an equal part of artistic processes. The series is funded by the Fonds Darstellende Künste with resources from the Federal Government Commissioner for Culture and Media.
