In Main Character: Lost, Miller de Nobili explore what it means to grow up in a world pulling you in every direction. Parents, School, Social Media, the pressure to care and perform: all at once. It can get overwhelming. It can make you feel… lost. Together with three dancers from breaking, hip-hop, and contemporary dance, Maria Chiara de Nobili and Alexander Miller translate inner chaos into movement: stress, stillness, rage, hope, the feeling of being alone and misunderstood. Dance, text, and sound collide in an emotionally resonant hybrid language that opens up questions about coming of age today.
